Why does a sociopath have to disrespect their partners and call them mad?

Hmm... a socialpath is someone who lies at will without normal remorse. They lie so many times that they have corrupted and burned their conscience into submission.

It is common in cases of adultery, where the offending partner has betrayed their spouse, their children, their friends and anyone they are hiding their adultery from with an almost infinite layer of lies. They tell these lies so frequently they start to believe them themselves. They will even rewrite their history in their own mind, to justify their activity, demonize their spouse and justify their lies. It is a form of addiction and insanity.

It is VERY common when confronted that they will first turn the accusations back onto the other person and accuse them of lying and being crazy. Unless a person at this stage gets a very serious wake-up call to jolt their conscience back to life, the relationship with their spouse will often deteriorates to the point of divorce.
