Most people think it’s because senpai can also mean respecting your elder’s bla blah, and it’s probably true, but I like to think of it as Tobi liking Deidara! But it’s just my opinion, I don’t have any reasons to think that other than because I like gay ships, but there was a time in an episode where Tobi pretended to be a high school girl watching their “Senpai“ lol
