Ralph sometimes forgets to make a fire because he's beginning to lose the effects of civilization; he's beginning to become a savage.
In spite of his dislike of physical exercise Piggy offered to go on the expedition to climb the mountain along with Ralph, Simon and Jack. However Ralph declined his offer. Piggy reminded the three boys, and I quote.. "I was with him when he found the conch. I was with him before anyone else was." Piggy wants to remain at the focus of things, alongside Ralph, and is fearful of being excluded in favour of Jack and Simon.
Piggy is Ralph's best ally but he does not stand up for Piggy.
Piggy is fully aware that Ralph is the only thing that is preventing Jack from becoming chief. Piggy knows that if Jack does become chief all hope of rescue will disappear because Jack will only bother about hunting and the signal fire wil be forgotten. Piggy is also fearful for his own safety.
Ralph wants to get Piggy's specs back and Piggy wanted to kill Jack there and then.
he keeps on saying piggy piggy and he lets jack and the other know his name and they teases him about it
To quote directly from the book... "He looked critically at Ralph's golden body and then down at his own clothes." Eventually Piggy takes off his wind-breaker and a lttle later, when Ralph was swimming in the pool Piggy sat on the rocky ledge and "watched Ralph's green and white body enviously." I suppose that the impression that you can gain from these quotes is that Piggy was not shocked by Ralphs nakedness but was perhaps made aware of his own short comings when compared to Ralph.
Piggy is overweight and wears glasses, which are symbols of intelligence and insight in the novel. Ralph is the elected leader and focuses on establishing order and rescue, while Piggy serves as an advisor and thinker.

In chapter 1 Ralph and Piggy discuss whether anyone knows that they are on the island. Ralph suggests that his father will come and rescue them as soon as he can, telling Piggy that the people at the airport will tell him where they are. Piggy replies, and I quote... "Not then. Didn't you hear what the pilot said? About the atom bomb? they're all dead."
Piggy is Ralph's best ally but he does not stand up for Piggy.
Ralph is obviously the leader and Piggy is a followers, he likes to please Ralph. Ralph is also stronger and smarter, unlike Piggy. ..... Poor Piggy
Ralph wants to get Piggy's specs back and Piggy wanted to kill Jack there and then.
he keeps on saying piggy piggy and he lets jack and the other know his name and they teases him about it
Piggy's motives are to build a peaceful society that focuses on rescue, a lot like what Ralph wants. He does not like Jack and I would say He's highlights are earning respect from the other members of the group.
Piggy & Ralph
Piggy and Ralph are both characters in Lord of the Flies. The problem with Piggy and Ralph's plane is that it goes down and there are no grown-ups around to care for them.
