When he was little, his mom used to call him ducky and so by saying that he has his mom's hope..
In the movie the Mighty Ducks there's a quote that goes, "Quack quack quack quack quack quack, GO DUCKS!!!" Justin was a hockey player as well, so, he might have got it from that.
Also, he says Ducks ducks ducks ducks quack quack quack quack slew!
