Jacob's father, Billy, always said that Werewolves ( shape shifters) imprinted to make stronger werewolf babies. So, a vampire would be ideal for this, but vampires cant have babies as they are literally frozen in time. But, Renesmee is the next best thing to a vampire as she is a hybrid like Nahuel, the male half vampire, and because she is half human, she can have babies, that's why Jake imprinted on her. So, obviously there going to have a baby, but in Breaking Dawn, they said that the Volturi were waiting for a chance to get back at all the vampires that stood against them, and if Renesmee DOES have a baby, that's their chance and a plot for the next story. Tadaaaa!
