Spencer had gotten into a car accedent with her sister and at the hospital Melissa wanted her phone so Spencer went to look for it at the church and since she was alone and knew that Ian killed Alli he wanted to kill Spencer so that he wouldn't get caught.

Ther stranger leaves, and Spencer crawles back up. Ian died of his broken neck of the ropes that were below. ANOTHER SPOILER P.S. Ian didn't die tho. He LIED. The police come and Ian gets away in time. "Games not over tell I say it is. Sleep tight while you can"-A and the show ends.
