He named him after two people he greatly admired. When his son was worried that he would be sorted into Slytherin House, Harry Potter said something like this (quoted from memory): Albus Severus, you were named after two of Hogwart's headmasters. One of them was a Slytherin, and he was the bravest man I have known.

Harry named his middle child Albus Severus because he respected both of them. Albus trusted Severus. Albus Severus also inherited Lily Evans (Potter) eyes and Severus loved her which may have influenced Harry.

After sharing Snapes memories, Harry understood what Snape had been doing all those years. Harry realized, as he said in the epilogue, that he was one of the bravest people he had ever met.

Harry potter's son name?

Harry Potter has 2 sons; James Sirius Potter and Albus Severus Potter

Is it true the baby in Harry Potter 1 is albus severus in Harry Potter 7?

No. Albus was played by Arthur Bowen, who was already two years old when the first Harry Potter was filmed. In the first film, baby Harry was played by the Saunders triplets. Parts for very young children are often played by twins or triplets to avoid overworking them and their first names were not credited. However, it's obvious enough that Arthur Bowen's last name isn't "Saunders".
