Assuming Wikipedia is accurate, apparently, when it switched to the WB, they were not happy that more adults watched the show than kids due to the advertisers wanted to market the show to kids.
Warner also cut the budgets and size of their animation division ultimately cancelling all the shows that came after, Pinky & the Brain, Freekazoid & Histeria.

Due to the fact it kept the same voice cast & created by the same people [Man of Action], it essentially changed its name to Avengers Assemblewhich added the subtitle Ultron Revolution for Season Three, Secret Wars for Season Four & Black Panther's Quest for Season Five

The name was changed to Avengers Assemble in 2013. It added the secondary title of Ultron Revolution in Season Three [2016-2017], then for Season Four became Secret Wars [2017-2018] & now for Season Five [2018-2019], the secondary title is Black Panther Quest.

Well supposedly, because if you watch till after the credits there is another trailer which sees the the villian in captain America talking to someone who may be Loki suggesting another attack... only problem there is that red skull dies and at the end of captain america. in the avengers the enemy invaders are talking to another alien race called skrull. which invade in the comics* Actually, Red Skull was not killed at the end of Captain America. He was, instead, transported, though we don't know where. So it is highly possible that Loki is talking to Red Skull at the end of the credits in The Avengers.
