Beause there are no more Hunger Games to reap her children. She didn't want to have children because she had the fear that because she was a victor, her children would most likely be reaped for a more entertaining Hunger Games.

Okay, I don't want to seem like a know it all, but Katniss doesn't want to get married or have kids because she doesn't want her kids to live in the poverty of District 12 and she doesn't want them to have to be in The Hunger Games *This was before she was entered*

∙ 12y agoKatniss doesn't want to risk having a child if she gets married because if she does, her child might get chosen to go to the hunger games and probably die, and she has lost too much. She only gets married and have children when the hunger games are over and when Peeta convinces her to,after 15 years!

∙ 11y agoBecause she didn't want to go through what the parents did: knowing that their children had to put their names into the drawing and if they get called for the Games, there's nothing they can do except accept the fact that their child will most likely die

It just doesn't sound like somehting Katniss would wants, especially since she seems so upset about the whole thing. But it's possible. I've heard that the Little girl will be named Rue and the boy Haymitch

She might not have "confessed" her love for Peeta in the cave. She was acting at first, but came to realize that she really did love him. So if there were no cameras, she would've never found out that she loved Peeta. And Gale would still be in love with Katniss. :D
