I see you asked the question a little while ago but It depends on the type of fishing that you are doing. I wouldn't use any ugly stick if I was bass fishing or fishing where you want a sensative road to feel the bite. The nice thing about ugly sticks are they are cheap and pretty much indestructible. A peice of advice the next time you go to buy a rod go to Bass Pro Shop and they make a rod brand called Extreme its green and made by Bass Pro Shop and it is by far superior in my mind and fairly cheap.
