Who would win griffin or Phoenix?

I think the griffin would win being half lion half eagle, and probably bigger than the phoenix. Plus the Griffin has both talons and paws.

As the lion was the king of the beasts and the eagle was the king of the birds, the griffin was thought to be an especially powerful and majestic creature. Griffins are known for guarding treasure and priceless possessions. But the phoenix,is described as an eagle sized bird, if killed(if it can be) will rise again. So, in a fight I'd say a Griffin. But in the long run the Phoenix has the edge due to its continuos life cycle

Although a Griffin possesses great strength and agility, it lacks the attack power to do any sufficient damage to a Dragon's scales. A Griffin would only be able to Dodge a Dragon's fiery breath and razor sharp claws for so long until the Dragon can a good enough hit and either immobilize or kill the Griffin outright. Keep in mind these are mythical creatures and really have no base in reality, anything could happen if these creatures were real.

i think that the phoenix will win because it can breath fire and have some long range weapons. and it is also small so it is very maneuverable. and they can both fly. and it can respawn! lol!

The answer might be the Griffin because it is too fierce and aggressive for the Pegasus

although the Pegasus can fly so high that the Griffin can't reach.
