Who were the members of the 'Side of the Road Gang' country western band?

(Richard not Rick) "D!ck" Kasper is my dad (this site won't let me use that name!?!?). Richard Keithley was the original bassist & Billy Joe came on not much later, Steve was the drummer from the beginning & almost to the end, David Patton was a co-founder with my dad but was only in & out of the group sporadically, he had his own solo stuff going on in this era but wrote a couple of the songs on the SOTRG album. Unfortunately all but Billy Joe & my dad are no longer with us.

Frank, Mitchell, Steve Brooks, Jimmy Gyles were the 3rd/last incarnation of the band & didn't get to know them as well & not sure where they are these days but I have fond memories of all the Gang.

David Patten was a singer/songwriter who was one of the original members of Side of The Road Gang. Rick Dick Kasper. Mike Ito...can't remember the rest...followed them for years back in th 70's and 80's

Another member was Billy Joe Howard - saw them at Gilley's in Houston and later married the man. We are now divorced. Who married Billy Joe - have known most of his wives. Billy Joe Howard, Phillip "Radar" Watkins, Mike Ito, Steve Nerron, Frank Harrell and Mitchell Smithey - still keep in touch with most of these guys.

I married Billy Joe Howard after he lost his other wife Char. He and I were together from October 1998 until November 2001. I am Kathlyn Black, professional artist.
