I know that he was 22 in Revenge of the Sith, and 45 in Return of the Jedi. Take 22 away from 45... and you get 23, Luke's age in Return of the Jedi 3. If Luke was just three years older in Return of the Jedi, the Emperor probably would have died by then. I mean, look at him in the closeups! He looks like his face could fall off any second!

Well the first thing you need to be a Jedi is Force sensitivity, and to train under the Jedi ussually in the Jedi temple. Imj not sure what era we are in however sometimes the Jedi ionly accept you from thbe age of three. Luke Skywalkers new Jedi order allowed adults to join however Mace Windus did not as proven in episode 1 although they did not train Anakin Obi Wan did not the Jedi order he was not accepted into the jedis order because they sensed fear in him.
