Why does Ushio die in clannad?
Ushio had her mothers disease, ever since she was little. Now when she was terribly sick, she really wanted to go outside and go to a certian place, but in order to get there they had to walk for a bit. Of course it has to be in the dead of winter when it is snowing furiously; and she can not stand anymore. inevitabley she dies because of not being able to survive. (that sentence wsa obvious :p) ***SPOILER ALERT*** seriously if you dont want to be spoiled dont read on ohkay so Ushio doesnt actually die. IN the series she dies, but in real life she does not. As soon as Ushio was born, Tomoya ahd a dream/vision of some sorts, that Nagisa did not make it, and that inside the dream was how life would have been without her (all of what he felt it would be like). So at the very end you see that Ushio is still just a baby, and that Nagisa is still alive, Tomoya is happy that neither happend.
How does nagisa come back alive in clannad?
because it was already given from the start that she had a weak body and had that accident back when she was young which made her very weak. Because of her body being weak she could not handle giving birth to Ushio so before she gave birth the doctor already said that if she goes through the labor she wouldn't survive.
