Otwane Roberts, or "Big Twan Love-Her" as he goes by - he uses his nickname is some of the lyrics to the song. I wondered this too, and spent more time than I should have researching it. :)
Second response: Yes, that is true. He wrote his part in 15 minutes while he was at work in the Credit Card Collections Department at Chase Bank. I know because we were friends at the time and I sat in the cubicle next to him. He was very excited when one the duo called him (they were friends from Queens) and asked him to write, sing, and perform a male part for a single S&P were planning on doing for a record. I thought it was just going to be a song buried in an album. We went out to lunch one day and told me he had the sample. It was on a cassette tape so we played it in his minivan. To this day, he's the only single guy with no kids I have ever known that had purchased a minivan. I then left Chase and went on to work elsewhere. One morning I'm driving and that song I heard on the cassette began to play over the radio. I couldn't believe it. I was very happy for Otwane because all he ever did was write, write, and write lyrics and now his work was paying off. We lost touch as friends sometimes do, but every time I hear 'Shoop' I think of my old friend Otwane and his perseverance.

Len Kagamine is a 14-year-old boy voice created by the Vocaloid 2 speech synthesizer. He is the male mirror (male twin) of Rin Kagamine (female voice created by Vocaloid). * Many people who cosplay him are girls which is why many people think he is a girl. He has a higher-pitched voice than a lot of male singers (like Justin Bieber), but once you get used to the voice and realize that he has a flat chest, you will see that he is a boy!
