Who is the leader of the akatsuki?

According to the manga, it seemed that Pein is the leader. However the real leader of Akatsuki, on my research, is the 4th Hokage ( Naruto's father). I know its hard to believe but its true. We'll just have to wait and see. no the real leader of Akatsuki is Madara Uchia.... yes he is alive n if you have been reading your manga then you would know this already

* Pein is but he answers to Madara Uchiha since that is the real founder of their little "clan". * The fourth hokage is the real leader of the akatsuki. Right before he sealed the fox inside naruto he switched bodys. that is not true madara/tobi is the leader of the akasuki because madara used to be friends with the third hokage but he turned evil and madara was behind the atack of the nine tailed fox after the atack he made the akatsuki and madara's sharingan was so strong that he could control the nine tailed fox but years later before he made the akatsuki his sharingan became weak and he became stupid it's true all you have to do is read the naruto manga(but he's not that stupid).

The leader of the Akatsuki is either is pain or Obito. But I consider Obito the leader because He is more powerful than pain because Obito has the 10 tails sealed inside of him, and the ten tails are all the tailed beast combined
