It's a long story but here goes, in the episode 'Krusty Gets Busted' (season 1, episode 12), Sideshow Bob frames Krusty for robbery. Bart and Lisa think this isn't right and go and investigate. Bart and Lisa present their evidence and Sideshow Bob gets sent to jail. Bart did most of the work so when Bob was freed from jail, he wanted to kill Bart Simpson because Bart locked him away. Hope this makes sense!
