Well she was named Eliot when she was born, by her mother, who chose Eliot after T.S Eliot the poet. She says Coco came later as a nickname which her brother called her after Coco The Clown, who he loved at the time. Coco then became a stage name, in a way and she performs under the name "I Blame Coco" although the band was originally "Coco And The Ladyboys". Hope this helped.
