The reason why he has a sharingan is because his childhood friend, Obito Uchiha, gave it to him cuz Kakashi's left eye was damaged and also, Obito was the only one who didn't give Kakashi a present.

His tardiness is ironic, as he hated the fact that his best friend, obito, was always late, and kakashi, once he obtained the sharingan from him, is always late just like and maybe just for his best friend, obito uchiha.

I know all of this for a fact to be true, but i was wonderin how strong is kakashi. Cause i read somewhere else that Tsunade was upset with him because he fell to itachi's tskoyomi(you know where he puts you in the genjutsu and stabs you with the swords). Anways that makes me think has kakashi really been holding back his true potential this whole time or was it just some really big fan of kakashi trying to make him look like a better ninja than what he really is.

Nobody knows anything about him he might just be that strong or he might not who knows. We are just going to have to wait and see what the creater of naruto and shippuden says till then im not going to believe what anyone says about any character. Like rumors going around that Kakashi fights Madara/Tobi and kills him but finds out it was Obito and Kakahshi didn't know that he was going to end up killing his best friend. I say that because people are saying it's a coincedence that Madara/Tobi would wear a mask that just show his right eye.
