Gerardo Ortiz is a twenty year old man that was born in the capital of Sinaloa Mexico called Culiacan he sings romantic music and narcocorridos.

At a very young age Gerardo learned Music Theory, playing the guitar professionally and trying to compose various songs with different tunes.

In the beginning, his nickname was "Gerardito - El Hijo de Sinaloa," and recorded the album "Encuentro de Amor", with a good response from the public in the US.

His second title was "Hijo Abandonado," a duet with his uncle El Canelo de Sinaloa. Between work and arduous search, came to life "La Pasadita", an album with banda which had very good results. This would be his third album which arose another of her adolescence hits "Amor Prisionero"
