Who does Sam marry in 'The Lord of the Rings'?

In the movie it is Rosie, the bar maid in Hobbiton. In the book it is Rosie Cotton, Farmer Cotton's daughter. Samwise Gamgee marries Rosie Cotton, daughter of Farmer Tom Cotton. They have 13 children. One of their daughters marries one of Pippin's sons.

Sam Gamgee is the gardener that looks after the garden at Bag End, Bilbo and later Frodo's smail in Hobbiton. He accompanies Frodo on the quest to destroy the ring and is instrumental in completing the mission. He later become mayor of The Shire and has many children with his wife Rosie Cotton.
