Why are monkeys funny?
Monkey's aren't funny to all people. But, in old time TV shows and even in TV shows now Monkey's are funny when they are put out of their natural habitat. People like to see what a Monkey would do. Some must find it amusing to watch a monkey pick bugs off another ones head for food. Some think of Monkey's as funny when they watch to make them feel better about themselves. Some may think "Ah ha! Stupid Monkey, I'm glad I'm not that stupid." Or something like that. But, People find Monkey's amusing because of they way they normally act, the way they eat, hang upside down by their feet, how they react in a different environment, and how they laugh even. It would be like Aliens (If they did exist, I'm not saying they do or don't) watching us, not knowing why we act that way and finding it funny.

There are a wide variety of types of comedy; old fashioned, silent movies like those of Charlie Chaplin use actions and body language for comedy; some are movies set up with silly or ridiculous plots where the characters getting into or out of funny situations make people laugh; some are funny just because the people are saying funny lines; some people like comedy that is rude and crude; some people like comedy that is witty and sophisticated; and some movies are not meant to be funny but people find something to laugh about that the maker had not intended. There are endless types of comedy movies for all kinds of people.It is a funny movie.
