George Lucas has directed a number of films and short films. His first was Look at Life (1965), a short montage of the year's media. He also directed a racecar short documentary in 1966 called 1:42:08: A Man and His Car; THX1138 (1971) and American Graffiti (1973). He, of course, also directed Star Wars(1977); Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999); Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002) and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith(2005).
