No they rarely ever use real money in movies.

Gary Rossington usually used either a Gibson Les Paul or a Gibson SG. Allen Collins used a Gibson Explorer and Ed King (when he was still playing with skynyrd) used a Fender strat. Gary Rossington usually used either a Gibson Les Paul or a Gibson SG. Allen Collins used a Gibson Explorer and Ed King (when he was still playing with skynyrd) used a Fender strat. 'Freebird' clearly shows the use of a Gibson Firebird in the second break. This is not the same as an Explorer which has regular humbuckers; the Firebird has slender single-coil Alnico-type pickups with a distinctive sound. Also, 'Sweet Home Alabama' clearly indicates the use of a Telecaster or else an old-style (50's) Strat on the bridge pickup. I believe the Les Paul/Explorer/Strat combo to be typial of live shows rather than what the songs were recorded with.
yes i think its a folder you can use a folder for about anything
if your talking about emg pickups then you should be able to use them as any other pickup with any tremelo you wish
I like Bare Knuckle War Pig ceramics, Seymour Duncan Blackouts and the odd EMG like the passive HZs that I had on my LTD M200 (super strat) but keep in mind the type of wood your guitars pickups made out of will make or break the sound of the pickup, say if you put a evolution (dimarzio) pickup inside a Dean ML thats all mahogany it wont be what its supposed to sound like. the best piece of advice i can give you is either see what your favorite guitarist is using but avoid signature pickups or google "whats the best pickup for a alder bodied guitar metal".
If you are talking about Sully Erna from Godsmack, then he usually plays a Gibson Les Paul Standard that he fitted with EMG pickups. There is no Signature Series because:A. Godsmack is not as popular as some of the other candidates Gibson has for a Signature Series lineB. Gibson usually does NOT produce Signature lines period,C. Sully is a Rhythm guitarists, and usually only lead guitarists get a Signature Series deal.
its all a matter of taste these are some of the best to me and what I'd play Seymour Duncan Invaders (really high output for metal) Seymour Duncan Blackouts EMG 81 (best EMG bridge pickup) EMG 89 (its like 2 pickups instead of one) Dimarzio X2N (amazing for metal) Dimarzio D-Activator (great neck pickup) or go with what your guitar gods use Steve Vai has Breed and Evolution pickups Kerry King, Zakk Wylde and so on have signature EMG's best thing to do other than trying them is to youtube them
Most metal musicians like, say Metallica use an active pickup. eg.( the EMG 81/85 )
first off EMG pickups sound like crap, they need to put burstbuckers in it and it will sound sweet.. emgs are trendy junk with very poor tone, lotts of the metal guys use them, very few blues players use them as they have bad tone.... ive been playing for 40 years and will never use them.
all depends on what kind of guitar you got as theres hundreds of brands out there some say directly on the pickup like dimarzio or EMG where as others you really gotta research.
*actives have less hum which to an unexperienced player they wont hear it *active pickups are easier to swap, unplug the pickup, put the other in sort of like a video game controller... no wire soldering skills required. *there are 100s of passive pickups and only few actives pros use *passive pickups are cheaper *passive require no batteries like actives *passive pickups are cheaper to swap out (less work required is the reason) *passive pickups don't sound as sterile as say EMG pickups , blackouts are more real sounding though. to reduce hum look into pickup covers and copper shielding tape
During an EMG test, a fine needle is inserted into the muscle to be tested
Not commonly. For drum and bass its best to use a loud, distinctive style of bass, for exaple i play alot of pendulum and use a Yamaha RBX 270. other good basses doe drum and bass are ones with Humbucker pickups - such as a fender Jazz Bass, or Ibanez
A guitar, a pick and their hands.
