The Capitol says that it will never happen again, and so came The Hunger Games, where each district offers up one boy and one girl to compete. Katniss and Peeta are chosen for District 12. The Hunger Games is a fight to the death in an area made by the gamemakers. there are 24 tributes ages raging 12-18. The story tells how Katniss tries to survive and win the Hunger Games. How long would it take to get to the capitol from district 12 in the hunger games?
The official map of Panem, as shown in The Hunger Games Adventures shows that District Four is on the western coast of Panem (North America). Between D4 and the Capitol is District 1. It takes less than a day to get from the east coast (district 12) to the Capitol, so I would estimate it would take only a couple of hours, if not less, as the trains travel at highs of 250mph.
