Harry didn't know how to get onto the platform and overheard Mrs Weasley talking about muggles, so he asked her. Fred and George then helped Harry to get his trunk onto the train before Ron joined Harry in the train compartment. Harry disliked Draco Malfoy from the first time he met him. It was before Harry started at Hogwarts, but he was buying his supplies. Malfoy reminded Harry strongly of his cousin, Dudley, who went out of his way to make Harry miserable. Malfoy bragged about being able to bully his father into things, and was talking down about other people, without knowing Harry at all.
