Unfortunately, Growlithe is not in Pokemon Silver, Silver gets Vulpix instead, and the only way to get a Growlithe, is to trade with someone who has a Gold Version (or of course, you could time warp one from Blue or Yellow or Red or something like that). Actually, that's wrong. You can find Growlithe at Route 38 at night, but he's a rare sight. The only other place I've seen him is at the Safari Zone Forest, and that's like... ultra rare. I've been to the Safari Zone millions of times, and that 1 time is when I've seen him. Hope this helps!It's true, you can find Growlithe in Soul Silver on route 38 at dusk (or night). Also, Route 36 and 37 but 38 is the best spot. This is the wrong answer. Yes, you can get Growithe in SS but only on two routes 38 and route 37 at night or evening.
