∙ 12y agoHe decided to reveal his identity to the public in Volterra Itally. This is because he was severely depressed because he THOUGHT Bella was dead. He asked the Volturi to kill him however they said 'no'. So he decided to do something that would make the Volturi kill him. Go in the sun. (So he would sparkly :D) Bella saved him though. He decided he was going to do it in the clock tower in the middle of the afternoon for the best effects.

∙ 15y agoEdward doesn't kill himself in New Moon. He begs the Voulturi to do it and when they refuse he threatens them to expose himself in the sun, but just before he does it Bella stops him.

∙ 15y agoEdward went to Italy to the Volturi. An ancient coven of vampires who basically enforce the vampire "code". if he exposed himself as a vampire they would have to kill him.

Do you rember when Bella and Edward were talking about Romeo and Juliet thing at the beginning of New Moon. Well he said that once Bella died he would go to the volturi and ask to be killed. Well do you also rember when Jacob thought he was taling to Carlise when he really wasn't he was talking to Edward. Well unfoutnatly when Jacob said Charlie was arranging a fewnral that made Edward think that Bella died so... Edward went to the Volturi to kill himself. Because he thought Bella was dead.
