On 12-29-1966 there was an episode called soapbox derby it was season 3 episode 16 and it guest starred Johnny Mills who was a 12 year old boy who was the real life 1965 soapbox champion, his father on the show was Darrin and Sams mechanic and the town that his shop was in was Patterson,N.Y. so I would have to say that they lived in Patterson or nearby, also Sam drove him to the race in Patterson.
Somewhere in California, somewhat suburbian, Motor-Trend atmosphere, everybody has a car, you know. they used some fine custom cars on the show-one conjured up by (Bewitched) for Darrin, the lead male character. by the way darrin ( no relaiton to Bobby Darin) was a classic auto body house in the interwar period- twebnrties and thirties.
Season 2, Episode 23 the one where Darrin is transformed into Larry.Larry is in Chicago due to fog and can't get home so he phones Louise to let her know, he asked the operator to connect him to New York, where Louise then goes and picks up the phone.

In California, upscale suburbs of L.A. area. From California, to the Grace Three Island, oops, that's a tramp steamer. Well again there is sanctifying Grace and Pan American Grace!
Bewitched
Here's a wild guess.. Bewitched? If you are talking about the mvoie with Will Ferrell and Nicole Kidman, the answer definitely is Bewitched.
Doorknobs Aunt Clara was the forgetful witch on "Bewitched".
It is just by coincidence that names of witches on Bewitched end in an 'a'.
Serena was on Bewitched. She was played by Elizabeth Montgomery but with a black wig and a beauty mark on her cheek.
