Where can I find the movie The Second Son written by Charles sailor?

I have a memory from the 1980s that the movie was going to be made starring Powers Boothe. It was started during either the Writers or Actors strike and never was made. I have searched the internet for years for info to no avail.

While the movie was indeed optioned and even partially cast, it was never filmed. Rumour had it that later in the 1980s, Frank Sinatra had re-optioned the film but again it never got made. The author's only book still awaits Hollywood.
