The Beatles first major concert tour was in Great Britain in early 1963 as a support act on the Helen Shapiro Tour. Yes, they were her support Act in early 1963 and not the other way around. Until that time, they had mostly played in and were known in the Liverpool and Hamburg areas. It wasn't until their first major hit, Please Please Me, which rose to the top of the charts, that they broke off from the Helen Shapiro tour. They then skyrocketed as a major force in music and of course a headlining act.
The Beatles first US concert was on the 11h February 1964 at Washington Coliseum in Washington DC.
It depends what you mean by The Beatles. Aged sixteen, singer and guitarist John Lennon formed the skiffle group The Quarrymen with some Liverpool schoolfriends in March 1957. Fifteen-year-old Paul McCartney joined as a guitarist that July. McCartney in turn invited George Harrison the following February, and the fourteen-year-oldHarrison joined as lead guitarist. By 1960, Lennon's schoolfriends had left the group, and Stuart Sutcliffe became bass player for Lennon McCartney and Harrison, and they changed the band name to "The Beetles" or "The Beatals" for the first few months. After trying other names including "Johnny and the Moondogs", "Long John and The Beetles" and "The Silver Beatles", the band finally became "The Beatles" in August 1957. The Quarrymen (Lennon and a few schoolmates played at many parties, school dances, cinemas and amateur skiffle contests before Paul McCartney joined the band in October 1957. On Saturday 6 July 1957, The Quarrymen played at St. Peter's Church Rose Queen garden fête in Woolton, and an audience member tape recorded their performance (but no video) making it the first recording of a performance of The Quarrymen.

I think the Beatles only performed two outdoor concerts in the USA, one being Shea Stadium, and the other being the Hollywood Bowl, their last concert. I think Shea Stadium was the first of the two, as I connect that with 1965, and the Hollywood Bowl concert with 1966.
