When did the band busted break up?

Charlie had become fed up with Busted's pop-punk music and wanted to start rock band.

Matt and James decided that they couldn't continue the band without Charlie so the band split up altogether.

Charlie's new band Fight star are having great success but not as much as he had with Busted.

Matt won I'm a Celeb get me out of here and tried to be a soloist but that never took off.

James didn't do to well for himself either he joined a band called Son of Dork they had one "hit" called Loser ville they disappeared from site.

They all would have been better off if they all stayed in Busted.

Simpson announced to the other Busted members on 24 December 2004 over a phone call that he was no longer a member of the band. This was because Charlie joined another band, Fightstar.

Because Charlie was fed up of being in a pop band and left to join a metal band called fightstar.... who are actually quite good and pretty popular.... Good decision....
