Feb.12 of 1964. That was their first American TV performance. The Beatles performed a total of 4 times on The Ed Sullivan Show. I absolutely recommend it! http://www.edsullivan.com/products/the-4-complete-ed-sullivan-shows-starring-the-beatles Correction: The Beatles actually appeared on February 9th, 1964 which was a Sunday. The Ed Sullivan Show was broadcast on Sunday's, not Wednesday, which was the date of February 12th, 1964. When was the Beatles' last Ed Sullivan Show appearance?

The Beatles appeared in a live performance for the final time on September 12, 1965, on the Ed Sullivan Show. But that performance was actually taped live on August 14, 1965. They did appear on the show later, although not live, via "promotional clips" (arguably the first music videos) which aired in 1966 and 1967.
