Cato is the boy from the 74th Games who Katniss, Peeta, and D7 female's mutt killed at the very end of the games. He was known for being an older voluenteer and threatening to kill the District 6 male tribute, Jason. He helped kill Jason, he slit D4 male's throat, he slit Azora's waist in the movie, he helped kill the girl from District 8 named Savannah after she set a fire beside the careers, but he failed to kill Katniss. He is the last tribute killed in the games.
Clove, the girl from the 74th games who was stoned to death by Thresh for attempting to kill Katniss. She left a mark on Katniss's forehead from her knife. Her known victims are the boy from District 9, the girl from District 7 who helped kill Cato, and supposedly "The Crippled Foot Boy." She places 6th in the games.
Brutus, the victor of the 52nd games, participated in the Third Quarter Quell. He is an older man, aging in his mid 40's. He happily volunteered, similar to Cato. Peeta Mellark kills Brutus in an act of rage and anger, almost similar to the way Cato killed Noah, the boy from District 3. He placed 7th in the games.
Enobaria, the victor of the 63nd Hunger Games, is the only District 2 tribute to still be a living victor. She is aged in her early to mid thirties. She is known for using her teeth to bite other tributes. She also killed multiple tributes by throwing knives, similar to Clove. It is possible Enobaria and Brutus trained Cato and Clove for the games.
Lyme, a victor from a past hunger games, volunteers along with Brutus. She is a middle aged mentor, victor, and tribute. She has blonde hair. She was over 6 feet tall, similar to the height of District 1's Marvel or Cato, and was very muscular, according to Katniss. She is later deceased in the Victor's Purge.
Primrose Everdeen was the original tribute from district 12 in The Hunger Games. Katniss couldn't let her little sister go in there and die, so she volunteered as tribute, which hadn't happened in years. This saved Prim's life, but Prim was worried about Katniss dying in the games.
The reaping system is, once you are twelve, every year, you get your name entered once. And for the grains and oil, you get your name entered a couple times. Then, they draw from hundreds of names to pick 2 for the Games.

The Hub is the name of the black market that Katniss trades at in The Hunger Games.
The setting of the book 'The Hunger Games' is in a post-apocalyptic North America by the name of Panem. At the beginning, Katniss, which is the main female protagonist, lives in District 12 until later she travels to the Capitol to compete in the annual Hunger Games. The Capitol is estimated to be in the Rockies, while District 12 is in Appalachia. After several days in the Capitol, they travel to the Arena where the actual Games take place. Collins never tells us where exactly the arenas are built, but some have guessed maybe Canada. The Hunger games is set in a country called Panem which was formerly the United States. This is set 100's to 1000's of years in the future. The smaller-scale setings are district 12, the Capitol, and the Arena.
