Ron Weasley gave Harry Potter the following birthday presents:

  • Thirteenth - A Pocket Sneakoscope
  • Fourteenth - A birthday cake
  • Fifteenth - Box of Honeydukes chocolate
  • Seventeeth - A copy of the book Twelve Fail-Safe Ways to Charm Witches.

Note that it is likely Ron gave Harry a present every year, even if it wasn't mentioned in the book.

How do you know the year Harry Potter was born?

In the United States hard cover version of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, on page number 328, it states the names of James and Lily Potter (Harry's Parents) and their date of birth and death. They died on the 31st of October, year 1981. They died a year after Harry was born. So Harry Potter was born in 1980. If we were an actual person and not a fictional character he would be 29 this year.

Who sent the Dementors after Harry Potter and Dudley Dursley?

Dolores Umbridge. She only sent them after Harry Potter, the fact that Dudley Dursley was there was just an added bonus for her since not only did Harry get into trouble for using magic outside Hogwarts while he was under-age, he used it in front of a muggle.
