He was an all around animal lover. In his lifetime he owned cats, turtles, rats, rabbits and mice. Most of his animals were strays that he took. In fact, he had so many pets that the apartment he shared with his first serious girlfriend (Tracy Marander) was nicknamed The Farm. I would have to say that he was a cat person. His first pet was a kitten (named Puff) that he found as a child.
