The first time I heard the song was in a kids show called The Elephant Show back in the 80's. We were living in Tacoma Washington at the time.
Originally titled "Skid-dy-mer-rink-adink-aboomp" or "Skiddy-Mer-Rink-A-Doo", the initial version of the song was written by Felix F. Feist (lyrics) and Al Piantadosi (music) for the 1910 Charles Dillingham Broadway production "The Echo." Since the title is gibberish, it has had various spellings over the years.

It was "Winky Dink and You."
Pinky Dinky Doo is a children's animated show. It presently airs in Spanish, dubbed in English and is available with subtitles. It features Pinky, a 7 year old child that tells stories using big words.
Winkey-Dink and you, or winkey dink, for short. I can imagine this could damage the then expensive TV screens if practiced enough.
In Chapter 8 of "Ender's Game," Dink defies the teachers by openly challenging their authority during a simulation. He questions the purpose of the tasks given to the students and argues that they are being set up to fail. Dink's actions show his independence and willingness to think for himself, despite the pressure to conform in the Battle School.
No. It didn't come from another show. It is not a spinoff.
when do plies reality show come on
I remember a show called Winky Dink and You, where children covered the television screen with a special plastic sheet, then Winky Dink asked you to draw things on the screen form him, like a bridge to escape from the bad guy. I remember that parents complained that children drew on the screen even if their parents had not bought them the special kit.
The show will come back on Sept. 2015.
