If you have the first type, the picture may be removable. If so, the bill is worth whatever collector value a normal silver certificate carries for that date, series letter, and denomination. If the picture is permanently attached the bill is considered to be damaged and has no collector value.
If you have the second type, it has little or no value except as a novelty item.
It's correct if you use an old Silver Certificate - it's not if you use the a current Federal Reserve Note.
