Uhm, PICK ONE.

Murder destroys lives [more than the person who died].
Lying comes back to bite you in the arse.
Secrecy ruins relationships.
Sexual preference doesn't change who you are.
Don't show favoritism towards your children.
Karma, karma, karma.
Etc.

Got a secret

Can you keep it?

Swear this one you'll save

Better lock it, in your pocket

Taking this one to the grave

If I show you then I know you

Won't tell what I said

Cause two can keep a secret

If one of them is dead…

WickedA new "A" begins making threats. Ian denies Ali's murder. Emily, having considered herself a lesbian for awhile now finds herself confused once again as she now has feelings for a boy, Isaac, whom she met at church. Hanna, still overcome with shock after discovering her supposed "BFF" was really "A," is desperate to be Queen Bee once more, and forms the new "it" clique with her stepsister Kate Randall, despite her initial distrust of her, and former enemies Riley and Naomi. Aria has feelings for a man, Xavier, who she met at an art show; however, he ends up dating her mother. This puts her at risk of hurting her mother again and further damaging their newly repaired relationship. After being neglected by her family and feeling like an outsider, Spencer comes to believe that she is adopted when she is excluded from her grandmother's will which bequeathed money to her "natural born grandchildren". Hanna and Lucas break up after Hanna tells everyone that Kate has herpes at a party to sabotage her, taking "A" 's advice to ruin Kate before Kate does the same after hearing Kate having a suspicious conversation in her bedroom which Hanna believes to be about her. Eventually, Hanna's father forbids her from talking to anyone except Kate when Kate insists that the conversation Hanna overheard was actually her practicing lines for the school play. However, Hanna knows this is untrue as Kate's character, Ophelia, has no such lines. Emily tries to date Isaac without his finding out about her orientation, though "A" keeps interfering and Emily ends up revealing her secret to Isaac, who accepts her for who she is. In the end, Spencer, Emily, Aria, and Hanna find Ian's body in the woods and they each receive a text saying, "He had to go --A."

The theme is suspense. A always leaves you guessing until the very end.
