What is the strongest eye techniques in Naruto and why?

There are several eye techniques in Naruto. The most noticeable ones are the Byakugan (Hyuuga clan eye), Sharingan (Uchiha clan eye), and the Rinnegan (Rikudou eyes).


Byakugan - is the best sight technique, can see through things, for several miles. Also, allows to see all the chakra and weak spots of the opponent, allowing to hit and kill an enemy with minimal effort.


Sharingan - Lesser to the Byakugan in vision, but superior in everything else. The Sharingan can be used for Genjutsu (Illusions), and also can evolve into the very powerful Mangekyou Sharingan.


Mangekyou Sharingan - No improvement to the vision is specified, but it allows the user to use very powerful techniques: Tsukoyomi (The ultimate genjutsu, cannot be unspelled and causes almost sure mental collapse), Amaterasu (The ultimate ninjutsu, black flames which burn through everything, even fire), Susanoo (The ultimate defence, no attack has been seen to penetrate Susanoo, also can be used for offence).
The price to pay for the Mangekyou, is that the user gradually loses his sight.


Rinnegan - The Rinnegan is said to be the most powerful one of the three. The Rinnegan allows the ability to master any Jutsu (except Kekkei Genkai), and all nature manipulations. It also allows the user to divide his body into 6 paths, which are essentially dead bodies controlled with chakra receivers (The piercing seen on Pain). Each can use a different type of techniques, and they all share their field of vision.
The original body can use all the techniques from the paths, plus the 7th Outer Path, which has Life and Death related jutsu.


Rinnegan is said to be the most powerful, but personally I think the Mangekyou Sharingan is superior.

Izanagi, an extremely deadly genjutsu, can turn imagination into reality. Only

Madara and Sage of the Six Paths can use a perfect Izanagi technique.

Izanagi can never, never be perfected. It's true that it can turn imagination into reality and vice-versa, but the user's eye is closed forever after the technique is finished.
