Wow, this took a TON of research and digging, but - I found it! The song is called "License to Scat" and it is by a Canadian composer named Christophe Beck. At first I could only find the sheet music, and I couldn't find a downloadable mp3 anywhere online... then I found this website for sheet music that also sells CDs with orchestrated versions of the things they sell the sheet music for - and they have it!! Go to www.jwpepper.com and type in "License to Scat", and yo'll be able to listen to a Real Audio or mp3 file that will show you this IS the version you heard in the film. Then, if you want, you can buy a CD for $24.95 plus $6.99 s+h. I know that seems steep but I spent so much time and effort trying to find it, I was grateful to find a place where I could order it!!!
