During the first movie, their closest friend was David Della Rocco, often just called "Rocco". However, he was shot and killed near the end of the film.
In the Boondock Saints: 2, the brothers meet a character by the name of Romeo, who accompanies them, and seems to take the place of Rocco among the group. However, Rocco does make a few appearances during the Boondock Saints: 2 in flashbacks and dreams, as well as in the introduction scene to the movie.
