He saved Ariel from the evil spell he had been placed under
Prospero treats Caliban as a slave. Caliban's speech, found in 1.2.334-47, establishes Caliban's point of view of his treatment by Prospero early on in the play, and the audience needs to keep this in mind throughout the remainder of it. The general complaint by those who have read the play, including most college professors, use the alleged complaint of rape as a justifiable reason for the poor treatment Caliban receives at the hands of all who come into contact with him. But this is taking political correctness too far, in my opinion. Caliban, it must be remembered, is a "natural" creature and does not hold to or even understand a society's ideology about sexual relations. I have argued this in papers and, in effect, set myself up as Caliban's defense attorney. :o) In reading the play from such a defense attorney's point of view, there are other places throughout in which can be found good evidence to argue the case. I shall let you have the pleasure of reading through to find those parts :o)

To appeal to the logic and reason of an audience
Pathos employs reason to evoke emotional responses and sympathy from the audience. By presenting logical arguments in a way that tugs at the audience's heartstrings, speakers can effectively appeal to their emotions and provoke a desired reaction.
I feel that the reason why companies utilize mobile marketing is due to at least 99.9% of the population has, uses, or has access to a mobile device. With the devive being available companies can reach a wider audience. When companies have a broader audience that they are able to reach the more revenue they are more likely to make.

The rhetorical appeal that uses reason to stir up emotions and sympathy is known as logos. This involves presenting logical arguments and evidence to persuade the audience emotionally by appealing to their sense of reason and intellect.
Honestly? Deal with it. Unless you have a seriously good reason for switching schools, I would suggest staying exactly where you are. Thirteen's rough, dude. I sympathize.
Audience is the group of people or organization I am writing to. They are my listeners. Purpose is the reason I am writing something. What is my goal? What do I want to achieve?
