It depends if you're counting season run or airing run because [as of February 2018] FOX's & now Spike's COPSdebuted in 1989 & has aired 30 seasons [so far], but MTV's The Real World debuted later in 1992 but has aired 32 seasons [so far], however HGTV's House Hunters is the champion when it comes to 'longest running reality show' in season count but there doesn't seem to be a consensus on exactly how many seasons of the show exist.
HGTV.com says there are 159 seasons, while tvguide.com & TIVO program guide says 140 seasons. Naturally of course, despite the high number of seasons, the show has only been on the air since 1999.
