Old Answer-what do you mean like how they have the same name as in cardcaptor its because they are supposed to be a different dimension and syaoran(the real one) is the sakura and syaoran from cardcaptors sonTechnically this is a bad answer because if this person read the manga then they would have known that Cardcaptors Syaoran and Sakura are not the real "Syaoran's" parents. His real parent are the clones Syaoran and Sakura :0. The real "Syaoran" took his father's name. But it does get confusing because that means the clone Syaoran's other self is HIS SON!!! Here's a spoiler, Watanuki of xxxholic is directly connected to Shaoran. There are different world or dimensions but in every world there's the same spirit.
