They're afraid of an NC17 rating.
It might be PG13 but also can be NC17
It would not be R rated, because it is a commercial movie. Most probably they will make it NC17.
No. If Breaking Dawn gets R rated it will not earn a profit as it is a commercial movie. Therefore, Breaking Dawn will NC17 not R rated.
probably rated g like the tv show or a pg rating for violence. it might even get a pg-13 for intense violence but it will never get close to a r or nc17 rating!
well its when you determine what is inappropriate ,some examples are: g:the little mermaid,Aladdin, cinderella, finding nemo pg:willy wonka, alvin and the chipmunks the squeakuel pg13:phantom of the opera, titanic r:saw 2,zombieland,shutter island nc17 or x:saw,saw3,saw4,saw5,saw6,showgirls. peace-out-idkaylabuzgo
It means no one under 17 admitted. Even if accompanied by a parent or guardian. The old X rating is now the NC17 rating. Back in the day the X rating was given for extreme violence (Robocop got an X rating at first, until they trimmed a lot of the shotgun killing at the beginning.), extreme gore (The first Dawn Of The Dead was rated X, until Romero decided to release it unrated) or for pervasive sexuality (Midnight Cowboy was rated X, and was the first X rated movie to win an oscar. It has since been re-rated as a R The same with Fritz The Cat which added drug use to the sex.) It almost sounds like the X rating is a catch-all for anything someone at the ratings board is bothered by, doesn't it?
Censorship restricts (and therefore violates) freedom of the press and sometimes freedom of speech too. The violation of 'freedom of assembly' and of 'freedom of worship' are usually described using these words and are also serious violations of fundamental rights.
