He doesn't have one. Or, at least, one is never identified. But most fans in fiction and such either give him his Japanese voice actor's last name, Takahashi like his creator, or Taisho because his father is often called the "Inu no Taisho" which means dog General.

He has no last name. Well, maybe you could say that the Yasha of InuYasha was his last name.. But if not, then he got none. I read some time ago that InuYasha means "dog spirit"... I guess they don't have last names in the Feudal Aura, 'cause I can only remember Kagome having one. But on fanfiction.com many names him Takahashi.

In FanFiction stories it had been "Taisho" But since InuYasha really has no name. And in the end he marries Kagome. I believe that it is...Inu-Yasha Higurashi.
