A channel that displays programming as it is scheduled. In other words this channel does not require the device receiving the channel to be interactive. It is a term used for the opposite of on demand programming. The real question is why give it such a misleading name?

What is the geological opposite of meander?

The geological opposite of a meander is a straight channel. Straight channels have linear paths with minimal curves, unlike meandering channels which have winding, curved paths.

Why is a cascode current mirror better than a simple MOSFET current mirror?

In simple MOSFET current mirror, the load current does not follow a linear relationship with reference current (ie for short channel MOSFET's multiplying factor due to channel length modulation cannot be neglected). But by cascoding the output resistance can be increased and since output resistance follows an inverse relationship with lambda (channel-length modulation parameter), the multiplying factor due to channel length modulation reduces to one and a linear relationship is obtained between reference and load current.

What s linear inverting amplifier?

An inverting amplifier having linear output characteristics is disclosed which includes additional n-channel and p-channel transistors coupled to a classic CMOS inverter circuit. The linear transfer characteristic is achieved with nearly full dynamic Vcc range. The invented amplifier yields a linear transfer characteristic by controlling the dimension ratios between each of the transistors. The wide dynamic range, wide bandwidth and low output impedance make the circuit well-suited for use as an output stage of a CMOS operational amplifier. What is difference between linear and block codes?

In coding theory, a linear code is an error-correcting code for which any linearcombination of codewords is also a codeword. The block code and its parameters. Error-correcting codes are used to reliably transmit digital data over unreliable communication channels subject to channel noise.
