Vlad Dracul, the Wallachian duke known as Vlad The Impaler on whom the fictional vampire Count Dracula was partially based was born around 1390 and died in December of 1447.

Dracula, the vampire, is timeless and ageless. He is a fictional character. It could be said he was "born" May 27, 1897 when Bram Stoker published the novel. Although he has been "killed" (how does one kill an undead thing?) many times in the original novel, comics, and movies since then, he will never truly die.
