Yes, but the anime skips around a lot and glosses over a lot of things talked about in-depth in the manga. Also, Season 4 of "Inuyasha" is almost completely fillers. The anime had caught up to the manga already published, and, to avoid halting production altogether, created completely random episodes that didn't serve a large plot purpose (so that they wouldn't interrupt the real story). Such as the character Ayame, created in the anime to be Koga's bride-to-be, even though she didn't exist in the manga. The manga, as with any book to a movie, is a lot better than the anime, but both are excellent!!

Koga is a wolf demon who is a recurring character in both the Inuyasha animated series and manga, by Rumiko Takahashi. He starts out as something of an antagonist, possessing Shikon no Tama shards in his legs that enable him to run incredibly fast, but he develops a crush on Kagome and ends up having a rivalry with Inuyasha because of it. Later, he turns into an ally for Inuyasha, Kagome, and their friends in their battle against Naraku.
